The Journal of Science, Technology, and Applied Research (J-Star) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published by Solusi Media Presisi. The journal publishes research findings, academic studies, and innovation development in the fields of science, information technology and artificial intelligence, applied research, and other related areas. It aims to serve as a platform for academics, researchers, practitioners, lecturers, and students to disseminate scientific findings that are relevant, innovative, and capable of making a meaningful contribution to the advancement of science and the application of technology across various sectors.

The scope and focus of J-Star cover a wide range of scientific disciplines, including information technology and artificial intelligence, engineering, applied sciences, energy, environment, law, economics, politics, technology-based education, and various innovative solutions that support the needs of government, society, and industry wherever they are located. Each article published in the journal undergoes a peer-review process by at least one peer reviewer using a single-blind review method to ensure quality, validity, and scientific integrity. J-Star was first published in July 2026 and is issued three times a year, namely in March, July, and December.
