Journal of Science, Technology and Applied Research accepts original manuscripts in the fields of information technology and artificial intelligence, applied sciences, energy, environment, law, economics, politics, technology-based education, and innovative solutions that support the needs of government, society, and industry.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts must follow the journal’s focus and scope, publication ethics, plagiarism policy, and peer-review policy.

The journal accepts the following types of manuscripts:

  4. Applied research papers
  5. Innovation and development studies

All manuscripts must be written in clear academic English.

  1. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be prepared using the following structure:

Title

The title should be clear, concise, informative, and reflect the main content of the study. The title should avoid unnecessary abbreviations and should not be too long.

Author Names and Affiliations

The manuscript must include the full names of all authors, institutional affiliations, country, and email address of the corresponding author.

The corresponding author is responsible for all communication with the journal during the submission, review, revision, and publication process.

Abstract

The abstract should briefly describe the background, objective, method, main findings, and conclusion of the study.

The abstract should be written in one paragraph and normally consist of 150–250 words.

Keywords

Authors must provide 3–5 keywords that represent the main topics of the manuscript. Keywords should be written in alphabetical order where possible and separated by semicolons.

  1. Main Body of Manuscript

For original research articles, the manuscript should generally include the following sections:

Introduction

The introduction should explain the background of the study, research problem, gap in previous studies, objectives, and significance of the research.

Literature Review

The literature review should present relevant theories, concepts, and previous studies related to the research topic. This section should demonstrate the novelty and academic contribution of the manuscript.

Methods

The methods section should describe the research design, data sources, population and sample, instruments, procedures, and data analysis techniques. The method must be explained clearly enough to allow replication by other researchers.

For studies involving human participants, animals, personal data, institutional data, or sensitive information, authors must state the ethical approval, consent procedure, or relevant permission obtained.

Results and Discussion

The results should present the main findings clearly and systematically. Tables, figures, charts, or graphs may be used where appropriate.

The discussion should interpret the findings, compare them with previous studies, explain theoretical and practical implications, and highlight the contribution of the research.

Conclusion

The conclusion should summarize the main findings, answer the research objectives, explain the contribution of the study, and provide recommendations where relevant.

The conclusion should not simply repeat the abstract or results.

Acknowledgments

Authors may acknowledge individuals, institutions, funding bodies, or organizations that supported the research.

References

All sources cited in the manuscript must be listed in the references. Authors must ensure that all references are accurate, complete, and relevant.

  1. Manuscript Formatting

Authors should prepare manuscripts according to the following format:

  1. Manuscript must be written in English.
  2. Manuscript should be typed using Arial, font size 12.
  3. Use 1.15 line spacing.
  4. Use A4 paper size.
  5. Margins should be 2.5 cm on all sides.
  6. Manuscript length is generally between 3,500–5,000 words, including references.
  7. Tables and figures must be placed close to the relevant text.
  8. Pages must be numbered consecutively.
  9. Use clear headings and subheadings.
  1. Tables and Figures

Tables and figures must be clear, readable, and relevant to the manuscript.

Tables should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numerals, such as Table 1, Table 2, and so on. The title of the table should be placed above the table.

Figures, charts, diagrams, and images should also be numbered consecutively, such as Figure 1, Figure 2, and so on. The title of the figure should be placed below the figure.

All tables and figures must be cited in the text. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use copyrighted materials where required.

The journal uses the APA 7th edition referencing style.

Authors are encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  1. Originality and Plagiarism

All manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism. The journal may check submitted manuscripts using plagiarism detection software.

The similarity index should generally not exceed 25%, excluding references, quotations, affiliations, and commonly used technical terms.

Manuscripts containing plagiarism, self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated data, falsified data, or unethical use of sources may be rejected or retracted.

  1. Authorship

All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research and manuscript preparation.

Authorship should be based on substantial contributions to the conception, design, data collection, analysis, interpretation, writing, or revision of the manuscript.

Individuals who contributed to the research but do not meet the criteria for authorship should be acknowledged in the acknowledgment section.

Changes in authorship after submission must be approved by all authors and justified to the editor.

  1. Conflict of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, professional, or other conflicts of interest that may influence the research or interpretation of results.

If there is no conflict of interest, authors should include the following statement:

The authors declare that there is no conflict of interest regarding the publication of this article.

  1. Funding Statement

Authors must clearly state any funding or financial support received for the research.

If the research did not receive funding, authors may include the following statement:

This research received no external funding.

  1. Ethical Approval and Informed Consent

For research involving human participants, animals, personal data, institutional data, or sensitive information, authors must provide information regarding ethical approval, informed consent, or relevant permission.

Where applicable, the manuscript should include:

  1. Name of the ethics committee or approving institution;
  2. Approval number or reference code;
  3. Date of approval;
  4. Statement of informed consent.

The journal reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not comply with ethical standards.

 

 

  1. Use of Artificial Intelligence Tools

Authors may use artificial intelligence tools for language improvement, grammar checking, formatting, or technical support. However, such tools must not replace the intellectual contribution, analysis, judgment, or responsibility of the authors.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, validity, and integrity of the manuscript.

Any substantial use of AI tools in manuscript preparation, data analysis, image generation, or content development must be disclosed in the manuscript.

  1. Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript, authors must ensure that:

  1. The manuscript fits the journal’s focus and scope.
  2. The manuscript is original and has not been published elsewhere.
  3. The manuscript is not under review by another journal.
  4. The manuscript follows the journal template and formatting guidelines.
  5. The abstract and keywords are complete.
  6. All references cited in the text are listed in the reference section.
  7. All tables and figures are properly numbered and cited.
  8. Ethical approval and consent information are included where required.
  9. Conflict of interest and funding statements are provided.
  10. The similarity index complies with the journal’s plagiarism policy.
  1. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system. Authors must register, complete the submission metadata, upload the manuscript file, and provide any required supporting documents.

The submitted manuscript will undergo initial editorial screening. Manuscripts that meet the journal’s requirements will be sent for peer review. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to the authors or rejected before peer review.

Before publication, the accepted manuscript may undergo copyediting, layout editing, and proofreading. Authors are responsible for checking the final proof carefully and responding to editorial requests within the specified time.
